I was a little scared in the first lesson, I always wanted to learn to dance, but it’s scary to go alone for the first time. Will I be vain and embarrass myself/stumble my partner? Is everyone else going to be much younger than me and super fit? Will it be embarrassing to meet a dance partner? I think I’m in year 9 now and this hour and a half class is the culmination of each week. Now that I can actually do it, I’m even more in awe of my early partners’ patience, not to mention their strength, as they dragged me across the dance floor. But they still endure as our instructor continues to challenge us with new choreography and combinations of steps.
