Blockly Games – Goals and Objectives Your goal is to learn some simple but basic programming concepts using online tools and activities to practice solving problems by writing code in an environment called Blockly. What is Blocky?
Blockly is a site for learning basic programming concepts through games, puzzle solving and creativity. On the left is a screenshot of Blockly Maze. In this example, the orange person is standing on the green circle and the goal of the game is to reach the red circle with the black dot in the middle. You can drag and drop commands to create a program. The commands you can use for this level are move forward, turn left and turn right. If you advance twice, this simple maze will be solved and you can move on to the next level.
